What are Mood Swing earrings made of?

Our lightweight earrings are handcrafted from polymer clay, suede, cork and genuine leather. Styles feature quality metal, wood, and bead components. Polymer clay, suede, cork and leather are delicate, albeit slightly flexible. Bending or dropping earrings could damage them, so handle with love and care.

What kind of hardware is used?

Our earrings are made with nickel-free, gold and rhodium plated brass, as well as gold and silver surgical stainless steel hardware. By its nature, all surgical stainless steel contains trace amounts of nickel. However, the minor amount should not impact the skin for most earring wearers. Although we cannot guarantee you won't have trouble, we have done our best to find the perfect balance of cost and quality for our hardware.

How do I care for my earrings?

Protect your earrings and their components by removing them while showering, swimming, exercising, or applying any perfumes, lotions, makeup or hair products. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products; however, if your jewelry is exposed to any of the above, damage may occur.

Care tips:

  • Polymer clay earrings can easily be cleaned with the gentle rub of a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol.
  • Polishing/cleaning brass and stainless steel jewelry regularly can help maintain its shine, and ensure that it remains hygienic for everyday wear. There are several natural ways to do so as well as polishing/cleaning products available. It’s a personal preference, so we suggest taking the time to research the method that works best for you and your lifestyle!
  • Our cork, suede and genuine leather are natural products and should not be exposed to water.
  • We suggest storing earrings in a cool/dry place when not wearing.

What is the return/refund policy?

All sales are final. We do not except returns or exchanges for hygienic purposes. Please carefully read product descriptions for exact sizing & materials used. If an item breaks due to shipping or a flaw in the design, we will replace it at our discretion depending on style availability OR issue you Mood Swing Jewelry store credit. What is the order processing/shipping time?

All orders process & ship within 1-3 business days of purchase. Please note we ship via Priority Mail® which includes tracking and delivery in approximately 2-4 business days.
